I am like a sunflower: always craning my neck, and reaching for those golden rays. In a way, I am begging them to pour onto me like my life depended on it. Forever chasing my eternal sunshine.
Recently though, the clouds have been swirling in, and the rain drops have begun to fall on my head. But when they cease, for that split moment, I am reunited with the sun.
While I yearn for every ounce of the sun, unlike my precious golden flower, I need protection, and recently I have been enjoying my Burberry Gabardine Lace sunglasses for this use.
As a sun seeker, sunglasses are an essential in whatever handbag I may use, should I be lucky enough to need them. Recently though, my Burberry Garbardine Lace sunglasses*, £243.95, from SmartBuyGlasses, have taken every last ones place in my bag. These sunglasses are not only stylish with their black, full rim butterfly frames and gradient lenses, but ideal for protecting your vision from harmful UV rays.
Unlike my other pairs of sunglasses, these plastic frames have a surprising weight about them. This heft is brought on by the gorgeous and intricate design of the gold metal-draping of the rims by the temples. Regardless, the weight is perfectly balance on the face and around the eyes which is ideal as it allows the black to grey ombré gradient lenses clarity, and without colour distortion.
Even though SmartBuyGlasses do currently offer these sunglasses on sale for £182.95, you will want to protect them. The Burberry Gabardine Lace sunglasses do thankfully come with their own sturdy case. With the words Burberry etched into the material, the case as a suede like coating and its own cloth to clean its scratch resistant lenses. -However, I will say, the case itself does not match the case in the pictures, which is a real shame. –
For Spring/Summer 2017, I am that golden flower, reaching as high as I dare go with my trusty pair of Burberry Gabardine Lace sunglasses by my side. However, with the SmartBuyglasses, I may dare dream for yet another pair and use the opportunity instead to soar high as a bird, extending my reach closer to that warm embrace that is the sun.
*The sunglasses were sent for review however all opinions and thoughts are my own.
