An Entire Day Of Joviality – #BloggersLunch, #BloggersFestival & #DMBloggerParty

The beginning of September brought about a tremendous amount of events for me. I went to several in one week, and had to say no to several more. It has been just a crazy time. The very first event came about with two further events: a 3 for 1. I was out from 9am, and didn’t get back home to almost 1-2am the following day. I was exhausted, but the day and night events couldn’t have gone better.
Starting with the #BloggersLunch, I was invited by Pao weeks before as she had heard about a “get to know” luncheon with fellow bloggers. Thinking it was a fab idea, I spoke with the coordinators, Jasmine and Kirsty, and I was in. When the day finally came along, we all dined at pizza express, and enjoyed our meals amongst animated chatter, with our “dessert” being a delicious white chocolate pyramid.
Afterwards, the large group walked in unison towards the #BloggersFestival. An event dedicated to informing bloggers about brands, their notable products, and their uses. Amongst the brand attendees, my favourite included the gorgeous Jewellery Box, an inexpensive sterling silver jewellery brand, with the most beautiful pieces. The Perfume Shop was showcasing their delightfully aromatic new arrivals. Small Man Media talked about their large scale of outstanding stationary brands, such as Smiggle. Yoogaia discussed their online yoga classes with webcam capabilities. Nanshy exhibited their plush and 100% vegan makeup brush line, and between the rest, Balance Active featured their current line, while premiering their brand new products from Natural World.
With being chatted out, and having caught up with other fellow bloggers, a few of us stayed together to head over to the final event of the day #DMBloggerParty. Scheduled a couple hours after the festival, we walked through to Fenwick after having Uber’d it to DirtyMartini. Pao, Jasmine, Kirsty and I arrived early and were greeted by complimentary prosecco, while we drunk additional martini’s, and I, crazily I might add, noshed on one of the girls fresh, and raw spicy thai chillies (Do not attempt that at home). Once the hours whittled away due to our overly chatty natures, we headed off, saying our final good byes for the night.
Due to my long public transportation ride home, I didn’t arrive until nearly 1 am. I was so exhausted, I didn’t even look over my “gifts” from the events until the next morning, when I posted it on snapchat. Of course I may have still been tired then, but I had to rally as I had yet another event that night.

I know a lot of people constantly take the train to come into London for events, but it takes a lot of time and money. Sometimes it just isn’t worth it.
